In the lead up to the 2024 Paris Olympics, Trailblazers celebrates the rise of Australian women’s football, from the early days of paying-to-play in front of small crowds to appearing in sold-out stadiums and being watched by over11 million people at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the largest recorded viewership in Australian television history.

Trailblazers acknowledges and celebrates the legacy of the achievements made in Australian women’s football.

The impact campaign is supported by major partner MECCA M-POWER and will be driven by Documentary Australia to make progress on gender equality in sport and beyond through leadership, increased investment, infrastructure and opportunities for women and girls in sport at all levels.
