Women Sport Australia partner with The Female Athlete Project (TFAP) to be the People’s Choice Award and Media Partner of Women Sport Australia’s Women in Sport Photo Action Awards (WISPAA).
Women Sport Australia (WSA) has partnered with The Female Athlete Project (TFAP) as its People’s Choice Award and Media Partner for the 2025 edition of the Women in Sport Photo Action Awards (#WISPAA).
Launched in 2020 by Olympic Gold Medallist Chloe Dalton, The Female Athlete Project spotlights the stories and achievements of women in sport.

Whether it's across TFAP's 300k+ social following, twice weekly podcasts, fan-favourite newsletter or merchandise and books, TFAP engage with a community that recognises the power of sport in changing the world.
President of Women Sport Australia, Helena Wurf, said she was proud of the new partnership and TFAP extending their support of WSA.
“Our WISPAA competition and exhibition has gone from strength to strength in recent years ensuring increased visibility of women in sport. We hero the individuals behind the lens and athletes captured, ensure imagery showcases strength, power and skill and that discourse surrounding women’s sport is unique, critical, respectful and athlete first”.

Since incorporating in 2005 Women Sport Australia has worked in collaboration with stakeholders from around Australia and the world to improve opportunities for girls and women in sport and recreation – both on and off the field – and see this partnership with The Female Athlete Project as a coming together of two great like minded organisations.

The Female Athlete Project will be the naming rights partner of the #WISPAA People’s Choice Awards and a judge on the #WISPAA adjudication panel.
TFAP will be running a People’s Choice competition, with entries open until July 6. The winners of all three categories, plus the People’s Choice winners will be announced on July 17 in Sydney.
