Donna Furlong Stelling, Ro Martin and James Ellender have joined WSA, bringing with them a wealth of unique experience dedicated to the growth of the board.

Donna is a sports marketing and commercial director with more than 25 years experience driving global growth through managing world-class athletes, delivering high-impact partnerships, and leading commercial strategy at the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. She’s a passionate advocate for women's sport, championing visibility, investment and gender equality through board roles with the Women's Sports Alliance, Commonwealth Games, and Minerva Network.

Ro is a customer focused and adaptive leader with proven experience driving brand transformation, growth, and commercial outcomes across retail and digital marketplaces. Ro is passionate about building high performing teams and delivering exceptional customer experience at scale.

James is a senior executive leader with more than two decades of experience across sport, leisure, community infrastructure and data-driven strategy.

James has proven capability in leading complex, multi-site portfolios, driving operational excellence, strengthening governance and delivering statewide outcomes that create sustainable public value, and has been recognised for collaborative leadership across government, industry and community stakeholders.

WSA President Chantella Perera is excited about the new directors, and the skills they bring to the team.

“Donna, Ro and James each bring a unique skillset to our Board and have strong strategic and partnerships backgrounds.”

This marks an exciting period of growth for WSA as we continue to drive advocacy and engagement and solidify our position as the independent leader for women and girls in sport.
