Hon. Richard Colbeck

Senator the Hon. Richard Colbeck loves sport and has been involved with local sporting groups and clubs for many years.
Richard was elected as Senator for Tasmania in 2001. He has held several parliamentary roles in the Australian Government, including in the areas of agriculture, forestry, finance, industry, science, research, and trade and Investment.
As Minister for Youth and Sport, he has a strong focus on youth mental health and local and community sport in Australia. He is also Minister for Aged Care and Senior Australians.

Samantha Lane

Multi award-winning journalist and author Samantha Lane is a media trailblazer. Her experience and reach across media platforms is unique.
Sport Australia Awards winner and 2019 Walkley Awards finalist for her interview with Adam Goodes, Sam was a Walkley winner in 2013 for a Fairfax Media team entry of Australia’s largest sport doping scandal.
Sam’s first book, ROAR – the stories behind the rise of AFLW, is unparalleled. She has been engaged nationally to discuss the change catalysed through the rise of women’s sport since ROAR’s 2018 release. In October 2019 she delivered a keynote address on the topic at the Australian Embassy in Paris, France. ROAR won a Melbourne Press Club Quill Award in 2019.

Ryan Pierse

Ryan Pierse is an award winning Australian photographer. He joined Getty Images as a staff photographer in 2004, in Melbourne. In 2006, Ryan transferred to the Getty Images London office and returned in late 2009 to the Getty Images Sydney office.
Ryan has covered a number of major international sporting events including Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, FIFA World Cups, Tennis Grand Slams, ICC Cricket World Cups and more.
His work has been published in many of the world’s leading international newspapers and magazines.

Carol Fox

Recently named as one of Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, Carol Fox has worked with thousands of people in her roles as an Executive Coach, Conference Speaker and Facilitator in the Personal & Professional Development Industry collaborating with all levels of Sport and Government Agencies – including emergency services – for over 25 years.
With a rich sporting background, Carol is the President of Women Sport Australia, was an Ambassador for the ICCT20 Women’s World Cup 2020, is a Mentor and Facilitator for the AFLW She Can Coach Project, is a co-patron of the AFL Premiership players club, is a Victoria University Women in Sport Research Ambassador and is a Mentor for Life Saving Victoria’s Young Leaders Program.
